Thank You..!

As a teenager in today’s generation, I admit that sometimes I belong to those people who have forgotten the manners of being grateful. In this kind of environment, dealing with friends, peers, and some people have greatly influence teenager’s lifestyle. We cannot blame ourselves if we can imitate what we say and do from the society we are brought up. When I read the article, I find it interesting for how the writer values the word “Thank you.” I feel like, I waken up in a long deep sleep… Until then, I realize what “Thank you” really means to me and to everybody else. I remember the time when I was still a child, my parents taught me to say “Thank you” when someone gave something or appreciated me. As time goes by, unaware that I have forgotten this simple and important word. I’m old enough to learn this kind of thing but yet, I should. Now, I want to say “Thank you” to the author who wrote the article, to the publisher of the book, the writers and all the staff, and Mrs. De Ocamp

Loving our own nature...

It makes you feel good looking at God’s wonderful creations. How I wish I can visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World. I always dream to travel around the world, but, when I read the article about Mt. Apo, I changed my mind. Now, I want to travel here around Mindanao first… and then to the other wonders of the Philippines. Why dream to go to other places, when in fact we have our own? We should be proud of having the most beautiful Mt. Apo which is also a foreign attraction. Mt. Apo which is located in Davao, is not just an ordinary mountain but also a legendary creation God had made. I really don’t have any idea about Mt. Apo until I read the article. My curiosity of its features, origin and legends lingers my mind, thus I really want to go there… and to experience and discover its beauty by myself.

Making the impossible, possible!

“The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person’s determination.” This line has really great impacts to students like me. It encourages and inspires someone else’s life. I mean, it lightens your path or something I can’t completely described. Maybe, the description of the lines also relies to those who can relate himself/herself in the situation. Others may remember someone by just reading that lines. For me, problems, status, background, disability and other hindrances in life are not good reason enough to give up; instead it’s a useful tool, a steady rock, to reach all your dreams and ambitions. Each one of us has his own purposes that keep us going. We have all our selfish/unselfish motives; buy all the things we want, finished study, have a good work and so many things we want to achieve. Most people on earth are never contented on the things they have, only few fell happy and contented. But people differ, right? Some give up everything they lived for and s

What's New With Me?

ORPHAN

It was in high school when I started loving and appreciating movies. My favorites are suspense thriller movies especially that involve crimes and investigations. Maybe I love watching this type of movies because I want to be a Forensic Psychologist someday, or maybe I like being one of the actresses on screen. Hehe… The movie I love most is entitled “ORPHAN.” It is about a couple having two siblings; a 12-yr old boy and a 4-yr old special girl who can’t talk and hear. She used only sign language and a hearing aid. The family was almost perfect but the couple was never contented. They went on orphanage to find a child that they will be interested of. Their attention was caught by a beautiful 9-yr old girl, she is talented; she know how to paint and speaks well. She is very formal and she acts and dresses like a lady. The couple was very impressed of her; they decided to take home the young girl. However, their son didn’t like the presence of his new sister. But their daug

Mission Accomplished

Life is said to be plain and simple. It is a matter of living every day. But what really life is? Well, it is a very objective question. It depends on us how we live and look over our lives. For me, life is a special gift from god but it will never work unless we give everything to appreciate life itself. Every one of us has his/her own ambitions. We have dreams, objectives and even goals for our lives. We learn to do everything to make things possible. We never surrender, and instead we aim high and we make ourselves become someone we wish for. But, are we the kind of person we wanted to be? Do we have the life we wanted to have? Try to think of it! In life what we are and what we have will never be the bases... But it's what we do of what we have. Every morning, as I breathe the cold morning breeze and feel the rays of light, I know another bright day would come and then go. But making every day of our life another stepping stone, one step higher and surely we can mak
