ORPHAN
It was in high school when I started loving and appreciating movies. My favorites are suspense thriller movies especially that involve crimes and investigations. Maybe I love watching this type of movies because I want to be a Forensic Psychologist someday, or maybe I like being one of the actresses on screen. Hehe…
The movie I love most is entitled “ORPHAN.” It is about a couple having two siblings; a 12-yr old boy and a 4-yr old special girl who can’t talk and hear. She used only sign language and a hearing aid. The family was almost perfect but the couple was never contented. They went on orphanage to find a child that they will be interested of. Their attention was caught by a beautiful 9-yr old girl, she is talented; she know how to paint and speaks well. She is very formal and she acts and dresses like a lady. The couple was very impressed of her; they decided to take home the young girl. However, their son didn’t like the presence of his new sister. But their daughter likes to have a sister. And the young girl and the daughter became friends. They send the young girl to school, but because she wears extraordinary dresses not suited for young girls her classmates make her the funny thing in class. She got angry with one of her classmate, and she pushed her from the seesaw when she got time to revenge. And because of that, her classmate’s neck was broken. The daughter of the couple saw the truth. And the young girl warned their daughter not to tell anyone. After a few days of staying in the family, the couple decided not to pursue the adoption. And when the nun who is in-charge of the adoption visited the couple, they asked her to research the girl’s family background. The girl heard their conversation and killed the nun on her way home in order to stop the investigation about her life. And in her doing’s, only the special child witnesses everything she does. But the child can never spoke to her parents. So she draws what she had witnessed. The couples were too busy and they’re never aware of what had happened. The wife was so dismayed and she blamed the presence of the girl but the father protected the girl. After the worst happening in their family, the young girl gets too close to the husband. Whenever the wife scolded the young girl for doing something wrong, the husband is always there to help the girl. The wife suspected the young girl so she researched on the girl’s behavior and the old orphanage where she came from and she found out that it was not an orphanage but a mental institution. But unfortunately, she was not able to talk to the girl’s doctor and just leave a phone number to contact her. Then her son discovered her sister’s drawings, the boy wanted to get some evidence against the girl. But the young girl tried to kill him so no one will know and burned the evidence. The boy became unconscious in the hospital. And the young girl finally killed the boy in the hospital and the special child saw it again. The wife was hysterical knowing what happened to her son and totally blamed the girl for everything. But her husband again protected the girl and the hospital attendant gave the wife a medicine to cool down her temper and to be able to sleep. So the husband, daughter and the girl went home while the wife was in the hospital. Late at night, the girl’s doctor from the mental institution called and she knew that the girl was not psychologically healthy. The girl was not a child but almost thirty-four years old, her physical body was like a child since it has a late development. Whenever a couple adopts her, she wanted to be close to the husband and try to seduce. But if the husband rejects her, she will kill the husband and his family. When the wife knew it she went home quickly to get her child and husband. But when she arrived home it was too late for her. Her husband was dead. She found her child crying in her room. They tried to escape but the girl was trying to kill them. Unluckily she failed to do so. The mother and the child make a new life for them to recover.
If I were to end the story I wanted to end it this way… The boy will stay in the hospital, comatose. The couple however, when they know the truth about the young girl it is too late because their daughter will be kidnap. She is used by the young girl to kill some more people and continue her disguise as a child. In the end the special child draws all the things the girl had done and without knowing the young girl find herself imprison. And the family will live together happy and contented. If I will be the director that’s the ending I want but I know it’s impossible!!! Since I will be a Forensic Psychologist…
